Growing up l was a the type of kid that loved exploring new worlds in books. I loved going to Afghanistan in Khaled Hosseini's A Thousand Splendid Suns, or to Nigeria in Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Half of a Yellow Sun. I want to share my joys, agonies, and patience of writing.

Not only is this a writing blog, but l organise bookclubs to comment on novels, poetry, and short stories. Join me!

Passionate about storytelling and the spoken word, I am a writer, researcher, and literature specialist with a background in editorial work, content creation, and project coordination. With a Master’s in English Literature from the University of Leeds and experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of York, I have developed excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills. My work as a freelance writer and screenwriter has honed my ability to craft engaging narratives, while my experience in publishing and legal research has strengthened my attention to detail and administrative abilities.
